The Monterey Jazz Festival: Blues, Jazz and Hats

Hartford York Hats for Men & Women - Men's Henschel Leather Patch Porkpie - The Patch PorkpieStylish hats have always been integral to The Monterey Jazz Fest, but the cool caps were most plentiful Saturday, according to the Monterey County Herald — “part fashion statement and part as defense against the blazing sun.”

French-style caps, full-brimmed hats, hats with feathers, pink hats, black hats — every kind of hat imaginable was worn proudly.
