Acupressure in my Hat

Hartford York Hats - Men's Indiana Jones 100% Fur Felt Fedora Hat - The Dressed Up IndyNervous? Stressed? Who isn’t?

Try a little bead taped on your yingtang point!

Now, before you get all offended, your yingtang point (and mine) is the area right between your eyebrows. According to results published in Anesthesia & Analgesia, an International Anesthesia Research Society journal based in Cleveland, the group of study participants that wore the bead at their yingtang point was significantly calmer after 20 minutes than the group that wore the bead at a sham point above the left eyebrow.

You know, I think I inadvertently beat researcher, associate professor of anesthesiology at Yale and licensed acupuncturist Shu-Ming Wang to the punch on this type of stress relief, when I wore my friend’s too-small Indy way down low.

I felt grrrreat.
