Dermatologists say: wear a hat, save your skin

Few women–and even fewer men–regularly wear sunscreen on their faces in the ordinary course of a sunny day: it ruins your make-up; it feels yicky; “real men don’t”; the excuses run on forever.

And now baby boomers are seeing the effect of over-exposure: from skin peels to laser surgery, they’re trying any treatment, no matter how painful or expensive, in an effort to combat the sun’s aging effect.
