There’s a good article over at Men’s Fashion on About.com. Called 7 Tips Men Need to Know About Wearing Color, co-author Daniel Billett says that “men shouldn’t be afraid of color but should embrace it.”
One tip that pertains to hats is no. 5, Keep Color Around the Face. It reads:
keep flattering colors that enhance skin and eye color around the face. You don’t want to look like you just got out of the hospital, do you?
The article further advises men to study ads and store displays for inspiration and ideas.
I say what the heck, just come over to my house and I’ll show you my latest favorite hat/color combo: bucket hats in green and orange.
Word to the wise: remove all fishing hooks from said favorite bucket hats before donning.
